The dependence on the soap concentration of the micellar mobility is explained primarily by a solvent backflow. The observed limiting slope is corrected for the change of the true micelle mobility which is due to the variation of the effective ionic strength with the soap concentration. The corrected slope is interpreted in terms of a volume of solvent entrained by 1 gram of micellar soap. An approximate calculation confirms the experimental finding that the amount of entrained solvent becomes larger when the ionic strength of the solution decreases.
