Editorial demonstrates the necessity of integrating endocrine and metabolic research worldwide, highlighting the urgent value of bridging laboratory discovery and clinical care.
This journal aims to serve as an integrative platform for all aspects of endocrine and metabolic health, ranging from fundamental cellular pathways and hormonal regulation to disease prevention, novel diagnostics, lifestyle interventions, and therapeutic strategies.Throughout my career in research and clinical practice, I have witnessed how deeply intertwined endocrine and metabolic networks are with each other, and with virtually every system in the human body.Yet, traditional scientific publishing often keeps these fields siloed. In an era where metabolic and hormonal disorders are rapidly increasing worldwide, isolated approaches are no longer sufficient.I strongly believe that now, more than ever, we need a dedicated open-access platform that systematically bridges preclinical discovery, clinical endocrinology, metabolism, nutrition, and digital health.Bridging these interconnected fields comprehensively constitutes the core mission of Academia Endocrinology and Metabolism.
