Theoretical analysis demonstrates ethical divergence in posthumanist frameworks, indicating that game-theoretic models risk commodification and loss of invariant worth.
We apply the Category Error Detector (CED) to two distinct instantiations of posthumanism: one grounded in thestructural ethics of invariant worth, and one coupled to game theory’s local attractor of strategic predominance. We show that posthumanism, in its moderate form, is a coherent projection of the intelligible—expanding the circle of participation without collapsing the axes of identity and dignity. However, when coupled with game theory, it drifts toward commodification, instrumentalization, and the erasure of invariant worth. The distinction is not optional—it is geometric. The CED diagnoses the misalignment and provides the corrective lens.
