Individuals with a fully healthy EQ-5D-5L profile showed significantly lower tinnitus severity than those reporting any impairment (mean TFI: 39.0 vs. 55.3, d = 0.78), and cluster analysis identified a high-distress subgroup marked by elevated psychological and sleep burden despite similar audiological profiles.
