Theoretical study demonstrates the sensitivity of intra-band reduced E2-transition probabilities to effective triaxiality in even-even nuclei, highlighting rules for permitted and forbidden...
The intra-band reduced E2-transition probabilities depending on the effective triaxiality parameter \(γ eff\) are studied within the framework of the Davydov–Chaban model. The Davidson potential for \(β \) variable has been used. The intra-band reduced E2-transition probabilities ground-state, \(β \), and \(γ \) bands are presented and expressed in terms of three parameters: \(g\), \(γ eff\), and \(Q_0\). Permitted and forbidden intra-\(γ \)-band E2 transitions were discussed. The sensitivity of intra-band reduced E2-transition probabilities to the effective triaxiality parameter \(γ eff\) was analyzed. Abstract Published by the Jagiellonian University 2026 authors
