This report provides the first documented ECG tracing of spontaneous Wenckebach periods with two consecutive blocked P waves during 2:1 A-V block in a patient with bilateral bundle branch block.
Izumi et al. (1975) conducted a case report in High grade second degree (2:1 and 3:1) A-V block with bilateral bundle branch block (n=1). Electrocardiogram observation was evaluated on Electrocardiographic characterization of arrhythmia. An electrocardiogram of bilateral bundle branch block demonstrated the spontaneous occurrence of Wenckebach periods with two consecutive blocked P waves during 2:1 A-V block.
