As a result of solid state interaction between two bismuth laminated compounds with different number of perovskite-like layers n and different iso- and heterovalent ion substituents therein 5 new compounds with n = 2 are obtained, their crystallographic characteristics being determined. The compounds are ferroelectrics of high Curie point and large piezoelectric moduli.
