Capillary electrophoresis (CE) in entangled polymer solutions was studied using pBR322 DNA Hae III digest as a model sample. The influences of polymer nature, monomer chain length, and polymer concentration were investigated. The use of a novel polymer, galactomannan, as the entangled matrix for the separation of DNA fragments has been demonstrated.
