Using X-ray diffraction data, it is conclusively shown that the chemical formula for the higher thorium hydride is Th4H15. The unit cube contains four stoichiometric molecules and the unit cell constant is a -----9.114-0.02/~. The space group is I43d and the thorium atoms are in the sixteenfold positions with parameter x ----0.2084-0.003.
