Densities and viscosities for the binary liquid mixtures of anisole or methyl tert -butyl ether (MTBE) with benzene, chlorobenzene, benzonitrile, and nitrobenzene were measured at 288.15, 293.15, and 298.15 K. These were used to compute the excess volumes ( V E ) and deviations in viscosity (Δη). These properties are discussed with reference to the nature of interactions between the unlike molecules.
