Introduction: Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most prevalent form of primary cutaneous lymphoma. Pityriasis lichenoides-like mycosis fungoides (PL-like MF) is a rare and relatively new subtype. Main Body: We describe two paediatric patients with PL-like MF in Singapore. The first case is an 18-month-old Chinese boy who presented with multiple erythematous and pink papules with peripheral white scales and underlying hypopigmentation. He was clinically diagnosed with pityriasis lichenoides. Skin biopsies were subsequently performed, and results were suggestive of MF. The second case is a 6-year-old Indian boy who presented with hypopigmented patches over his face and body consistent with hypopigmented MF, but later developed papulo-squamous lesions which were consistent with PL-like MF. Both cases responded to narrow band ultraviolet B phototherapy. Conclusion: PL-like MF can present as a diagnostic challenge in children. Recognition of the key clinical and histological features are important to facilitate early recognition appropriate treatment.
