Starting with a general Hamiltonian of a one-dimensional antiferromagnet, H=J Sigma i S i .S i+1 +A Sigma i (S i z ) 2 -g mu B H Sigma S i x D mod , mod A mod , H, and the effects on magnetisation are discussed. The results are compared with the phenomenological domain wall theory and agreement is found.
