Systematic review reveals an indicator-bank evidence base in agricultural land protection policies, highlighting improved reproducibility for spatial composite evaluation.
This dataset contains the systematic literature review (SLR) screening records and evidence-extraction files supporting the development of SPES (Spatial Policy Evaluation Score), a non-compensatory composite index for evaluating agricultural land protection policy effectiveness, submitted to Land Use Policy*.* The review followed a tiered evidence design: Tier 1 (core systematic review, PRISMA 2020, 400 Scopus records screened to 48 full-text extractions) established the primary evidence base; Tier 2 (targeted methodological review, four sub-searches: composite indicator construction, decision support/MCDA, spatial evaluation, and governance operationalization) supplied best-practice methodological evidence; Tier 3 (targeted theoretical retrieval) supplied theoretical anchors. Files are organized by tier and stage, tracing the full audit trail from initial title screening through final indicator-bank construction (Table 1 of the manuscript). See README.md for a full file-by-file description and terminology guide. This dataset is provided for transparency, reproducibility, and independent verification of the manuscript's evidence claims, including the source traceability and verification-status coding (FT-C / FT-R / AB-T2) reported in Table 1.
