This research work focus on the development of jute reinforced biodegradable nano-biocomposite using soy milk as matrix and nanoclay as additive. These composites were characterized for mechanical, dynamic mechanical properties, and moisture sensitivity. X-ray diffraction (XRD) and transmission electron microscopic (TEM) of the nano-biocomposites were accomplished to study the formation of exfoliated structure of nano-biocomposite. Mechanical and dynamic strength obtained for nanoclay-reinforced jute-soy composites are promising and developed composites might prove an alternative for nondegradable plastic-reinforced composite. Developed composites can be utilized in automotive, packaging, cuboids, railway wagon, and furniture industry as a substitute of plastic composites.
