Two benzo[c:d']diisothiazoles, 8‐methylbenzo[1,2‐c:5,6‐d']diisothiazole and 3‐methylbenzo[1,2‐c:6,5‐d']diisothiazole, have been made by reaction of appropriate aminomethyl‐1,2‐benzisothiazoles with N‐sulfinylmeth‐anesulfonamide.
