Pyrrolo[3,4‐c]pyrazole‐4,6‐diones, pyrazoles, pyrazolo[3,4‐d]pyridazines, and pyrazolo[3,4‐d]pyrimidines were prepared via 1‐bromo‐2‐(5‐chlorobenzofuran‐2‐yl)ethanedione‐1‐phenylhydrazone with N‐arylmalemides and active methylene. All newly synthesized compounds were confirmed by elemental analysis and spectral data.
