Comparative study reveals altered switching dynamics and electromechanical hysteresis in porous lead zirconate titanate ceramics, indicating strong microstructural influences.
The features of switching processes and electromechanical hysteresis in porous piezoceramics in the lead zirconate titanate system were studied in comparison with those in dense piezoceramics of the same composition. It was shown that the differences in switching behavior between the dense and porous piezoceramics are due to micro- and mesostructural features of the porous piezoceramics.
