A case is presented of a 12‐year‐old female with localized juvenile periodontitis. Both the progression of the lesions from about the time of onset and the healing of the lesions following treatment are documented with radiographs over a 3‐year period. In addition, a radiolucent‐radiopaque area, resembling a calcifying supernumerary tooth, developed at the site of one of the lesions during the period of observation.
