An analysis of a magic angle sample spinning experiment with a noncommuting time-dependent Hamiltonian is presented using Floquet Hamiltonian theory. The results obtained from this analysis are used to explain additional lines in multiple pulse magic angle sample spinning experiments which occur at multiples of the rotor frequency. Frequency shifts of the normal magic angle sample spinning sidebands and the intensities of the additional rotor frequency lines as a function of the resonance offset are given.
