New theoretical results for positions and lifetimes of N 5+ (3l3l') singlet states made possible a fit of the 3l3l' experimental electron line observed in N 7+ -He collision at 70 keV, 10'. It has been found that two-electron capture occurring in the highest angular momentum 1 G e (2, 0) state represents about 50% of the capture into 3l3l'. Because of the post-collision interaction, this fitting procedure allows the first experimental check of 3l3l' 1 L theoretical positions and lifetimes.
