Partial nl and total cross-sections for the low energy collisions Ar 7+ + He(H 2 ) at 35-70 KeV have been measured by photon spectroscopy. In addition to single electron capture, one electron capture with excitation of a core electron has been observed and measured. Comparisons with calculations based on the Extended Classical Over-Barrier (ECB) model and the assumption of conservation of angular momentum show good agreement between the experimental and predicted l -distributions.
