Cardiac surveillance may be warranted after doxorubicin; leaves open prospective assessment of combined-modality late effects.
What are the late effects of primary treatment modalities in long-term survivors of high-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphomas?
Long-term survivors of high-grade non-Hodgkin's lymphomas are at risk for significant late effects, predominantly doxorubicin-related cardiac toxicity and transfusion-related hepatitis C, with radiation therapy increasing the likelihood of these effects.
