The spectral distribution is studied of photoconduction on AgGaS2 between liquid helium and room temperature. In the purest single crystals the effect is shown of the incident light polarization on the spectrum shape. These results are connected to those ones obtained on the “edge emission” by cathodoexcitation. On less pure crystals, the photoconduction and green photo-luminescence excitation are compared to show up the similarity of the two processes.
