A 75-year-old woman with reverse Takotsubo syndrome achieved complete recovery of left ventricular function and remained free of recurrence during a 2-year follow-up after supportive management.
Case Report (n=1)
This case report highlights the clinical presentation and rapid recovery of a patient with reverse Takotsubo syndrome, a rare variant of stress cardiomyopathy.
May warrant considering reverse Takotsubo in anxiety patients with chest pain and HF; single case leaves open prevalence and management questions.
Reverzní forma takotsubo syndromu patří mezi méně časté varianty akutního syndromu, charakterizovaného reverzibilní akinezí bazálních segmentů levé komory a hyperkontraktilitou její hrotové části.
