Quantitative study reveals that digital transformation enhances student satisfaction through platform interaction and agility in higher education, indicating key pathways for online learning success.
This study examines the relationship between Digital Transformation (DT), Online Platform interaction (OP), Learner Agility (LA), Learner Engagement (LE), and Learner Satisfaction (LS) in the context of online learning. Using a quantitative research approach, data were collected from 340 higher education students in India and analyzed using PLS-SEM. The findings indicate that DT positively influences OP and LA, which in turn drive LE, ultimately leading to higher LS. Sequential mediation analysis confirms that OP and LA, along with LE, act as critical pathways translating digital investments into student satisfaction. Applying Social Cognitive Theory, this study contributes a cohesive framework explaining how environmental enabling and cognitive adaptability jointly activate student engagement and satisfaction, offering actionable strategies for academic administrators.
