Sample A was collected from the bird-watching zone of natural wetland in Yingwuzhou Wetland Park, a specially-protected tidal flat with no human access and anthropogenic disturbance for attracting roosting birds. Sample B was collected from soil 30 m adjacent to a chemical plant. No DNA library was constructed due to extremely low DNA yield of the environmental sample. Sample C was collected from Urban Beach Park near the coastal tidal flat with strong anthropogenic impacts. The sampling depth for all three samples was 5-10 cm.
