Simulation study demonstrates improved wind tracking and operational stability in sensorless permanent magnet wind generators, indicating enhanced disturbance rejection against wind fluctuations.
This article proposes a composite control strategy system to address the issue of wind speed tracking performance without position sensors in the operation of permanent magnet synchronous wind power generation systems within complex environments. The speed loop control module of this strategy employs a refined active disturbance rejection control (RADRC) strategy as its core, supplemented by a parallel proportional integral (PI) controller to enhance speed loop control, efficiently suppressing external disturbances like wind speed fluctuations and improving speed control accuracy and steady-state performance. By introducing an additional compensation term into its internal model to alleviate the influence of estimation lag, the RADRC strategy is capable of achieving faster and more accurate estimation performance. Meanwhile, active disturbance rejection control (ADRC) technology is applied in the current loop control, with a parallel PI controller to significantly boost transient response and anti-disturbance robustness. The speed observer utilizes an improved model reference adaptive system (MRAS), where the adaptive law is mainly based on a PI controller, with a parallel ADRC regulator introduced to further reduce speed estimation errors. Compared with conventional PI or ADRC based adaptive strategies, the proposed observer achieves more accurate rotor speed estimation and improves the dynamic response of the system. In the design process, the mathematical model system of the permanent magnet synchronous wind power generation system is first established, and a comprehensive theoretical analysis is carried out on the proposed composite control strategy. Then, based on the MATLAB/Simulink simulation platform, a system simulation model is constructed to verify control strategies under various typical wind speed conditions. Simulation experimental data shows that compared to traditional control schemes, adopting this composite control strategy significantly enhances operational stability.
