A series of Ca 9 Bi(PO 4 ) 7 :Ce 3+ ,Tb 3+ ,Mn 2+ phosphors synthesized via the high-temperature solid-state reaction method can emit intense tunable color from purple-blue to red including white under UV excitation, which shows their potential application in UV-pumped white-light-emitting diodes.
