Two cases of dysgerminoma of the ovary associated with pregnancy are presented. The literature on dysgerminoma in pregnancy is reviewed. It is suggested that in young women, with a unilateral well‐encapsulated tumour, a unilateral salpingo‐oophorectomy is the treatment of choice when further childbearing is desired. A more radical surgery is required in those who have completed their family and in those with evidence of capsular infiltration or breach.
