Theoretical analysis demonstrates a sharper inequality for generalized sine and tangent functions in a two-parameter framework, suggesting tighter analytical bounds for special functions.
This paper studies a ( p , q )-extension of a problem of Yin et al. for generalized trigonometric functions, which was recently solved by Deng, Peng and Zhong. Using properties of Gaussian hypergeometric functions and absolute monotonicity, we prove a new inequality for ( p , q )-generalized sine and tangent functions. Our result provides a new proof of the original problem, extends it to the two-parameter setting, and yields a sharper inequality with an explicit positive correction term.
