Monoethanolamine (MEA) is commonly used as a benchmark for solvent development within postcombustion CO 2 capture. The physical properties data for this system are scarce, especially for loaded solutions. In this paper new measurements of physical properties (density, viscosity, and physical N 2 O solubility) of unloaded and loaded solutions are presented. Available literature data were collected, and semiempirical models were developed and shown to represent all experimental data very well.
