Abstract s‐Triazolo[1,5‐a]pyrimidines are important stabilizers for photographic silver halide emulsions and are used for pharmaceutical and agrochemical purposes, too. In the report it is dealt with syntheses from s‐triazoles and from pyrimidines, physical properties, tautomerism, nuclear alkylation, electrophilic and nucleophilic substitution, ring fission and other reactions, and applications.
