The dynamic properties of an easy-plane magnetic chain with exchange energy J and single-ion anisotropy A<<J display a gradual transition from the easy-plane to the isotropic behaviour at T approximately=(AJ)12/. The temperature-dependent strength of the one-magnon excitation in CsNiF3, reflects this transition.
