Young’s modulus E at the magnetically saturated state was measured by a resonance frequency method, for single- and poly-crystals of Ni and Ni-Fe (fcc) alloys, and shear modulus G was also measured for the same poly-crystal specimen. Elastic parameter Sij, elastic coefficient Cij and shear modulus Gijk were calculated from Young’s modulus Eijk and compressibility κ, and these values of Ni and Ni-60%Fe alloy were as follows:(This article is not displayable.
