Why the study?
Patients with AF often take multiple medications, increasing the risk of P-glycoprotein and CYP450 drug-drug interactions with oral anticoagulants. The study aimed to define and analyze potential drug-drug interactions with warfarin, dabigatran, and rivaroxaban in high-risk AF patients in Latvia.
