Percutaneous balloon mitral valvotomy is linked to an unusual catheterization complication in severe mitral stenosis.
Why the study?
Percutaneous balloon mitral valvotomy is standard therapy for mitral stenosis, but unusual complications during cardiac catheterisation remain underreported.
Case Report (n=1)
This case report highlights a rare complication associated with cardiac catheterisation during balloon mitral valvotomy.
