De-branch TEVAR is a useful technique for reconstructing the ARSCA pathway and closing the false lumen in patients with Stanford Type B aortic dissection complicated by an aberrant right subclavian artery.
Extends endovascular options to rare ARSCA variant in Type B dissection; leaves open generalizability beyond single case.

Tsuchida et al. (2016) conducted a case report in Stanford type B acute aortic dissection with aberrant right subclavian artery (n=1). De-branch TEVAR and EVAR was evaluated on Disappearance of false lumen blood flow. Reconstruction of the ARSCA route and closure of the false lumen by de-branch TEVAR, followed by EVAR, successfully treated an acute communicating aortic dissection with an ARSCA.
