MDCT may aid ALCAPA diagnosis in adult cardiac arrest survivors; leaves open its comparative role versus other modalities.
Akgün et al. (2010) conducted a case report in Anomalous left coronary artery arising from the pulmonary artery (ALCAPA) (n=1). Multidetector computed tomography (MDCT) coronary angiography was evaluated on Diagnosis of ALCAPA. Multidetector computed tomography coronary angiography successfully identified an anomalous left coronary artery arising from the pulmonary artery in a 22-year-old female presenting with cardiac arrest.
