Binary Ni-Co electrode materials have both high conductivity and high electrochemical activity because they can overcome each other's disadvantages through synergistic effects. This work presents a method to prepare ultrafine crystalline single/duplex Ni-Co alloys with different cobalt contents by pulsed electrodeposition. XRD was used to characterize the microstructure of the alloy. Different Co percentages were investigated. At the optimum ratio, the obtained Ni-Co alloy exhibited good electrocatalytic activity with an overpotential of 73 mV with a Tafel slope of 34 mV/dec at a current density of 10 mA/cm 2 .
