Occurrence of Anodonta woodiana (Lea) in France (Bivalvia Unionidae) Anodonta (Pteranodon ) woodiana woodiana (Lea, 1834) is recorded for the first time from southern France, department of Bouches-du-Rhône. This east asiatic species, already introduced into eastern Europe, has been found in fish breeding bassins.
