Takayasu arteritis presents as AMI secondary to previously unreported synchronous triple SCAD in a young man.
Why the study?
Synchronous spontaneous triple coronary artery dissection with Takayasu arteritis had not been previously reported in the literature.
This case report highlights the rare occurrence of synchronous spontaneous triple coronary artery dissection in a patient with Takayasu arteritis.
Consider Takayasu arteritis in young patients with spontaneous triple coronary dissection causing AMI; leaves open expanded coronary phenotypes in vasculitis.
Synchronous spontaneous triple coronary artery dissection with Takayasu arteritis has not been previously reported in the literature.
