The review aims to identify what is meant by ecolinguistics and pedagogy and acknowledge the manner in which the students' awareness of ecolinguistics can be increased.The review also sheds light on the shortcoming of the implementation of ecolinguistics in the curriculum.The field of ecolinguistics can be identifying by four categorized: the symbolic ecology; the second category is a natural ecology; the third is a socio-culture; and the cognitive category.Ecolinguistics points to a wide term that involves the linguistic methodologies to discourses and texts of environmental importance.
