With a resolution of 10^-10 J/^∘{}K the fluctuation heat capacity has been observed near Tc in thin films of Bi0.4{Sb}0.6$. No indication of peaking was seen in the heat capacity near ${T}c$. The heat-capacity transition when compared with the corrected resistivity transition is found to have approximately twice the width. This width is 3 times that predicted by Ferrell.
