This paper presents an analysis of the running coupling constant α ₛ(q²) using data from π ⁻ + C interactions at 40\,\,GeV/ 1pt c and $$p + p$$ interactions at 205\,\,GeV 1pt / 1pt c . It is known that choosing the correct value for the Λ _QCD cut parameter is very important for calculating the right values of the strong coupling constant α ₛ(q²) . In our study, we used the value Λ _QCD = 0.197\,GeV , which was obtained in our previous work [3, 4]. Finally, the results for α ₛ(q²) are compared with theoretical QCD predictions.
