Antiferromagnetic spintronics has attracted considerable interest due to its interfacial spin-dependent transport in non-magnetic/antiferromagnetic heterostructures. In particular, the anomalous Hall effect (AHE) in Pt-based systems is closely related to magnetic proximity-induced spin polarization. As a rare-earth nickelate with coupled metal–insulator and antiferromagnetic transitions, NdNiO3 (NNO) provides a promising platform for studying spin coupling in correlated oxides. Here, we fabricate high-quality Pt/NNO heterostructures with atomically sharp interfaces. A pronounced AHE and anisotropic spin Hall magnetoresistance are observed, both of which vanish above the Néel temperature of NNO (∼170 K), demonstrating their close correlation with the antiferromagnetic ordering. A 2 nm SrTiO3 spacer layer strongly suppresses the AHE, while substrate dependence is negligible, confirming its interfacial origin. These results demonstrate magnetic proximity effect-induced spin polarization in Pt and establish NdNiO3 as a correlated antiferromagnetic platform for interfacial spin physics.
