The NICA MPD experiment, like all modern physics experiments, is based on simulation data. Detailed geometry, containing information not only about the dimensions and materials of the detector’s structural elements but also about its internal volumes, is a necessary component of most stages of physical modeling. In some cases, other specialized geometries may also be used. The article is devoted to the geometries of MPD TPC (Time Projection Chamber) for the MpdRoot and ACTS software packages.
