By arranging a three‑dimensional lattice whose primitive vectors are the 240 E8 root vectors scaled by φ, we generate a self‑similar phononic bandgap spectrum with gaps at 132 Hz × φⁿ. Simultaneously, the same lattice supports photonic resonances at identical frequencies because the φ‑scaled lattice constant matches the optical wavelength condition for a dielectric contrast engineered from the E8 root geometry. The resulting dual‑modal frequency comb provides a coherent bridge between microwave phonons and optical photons, enabling efficient quantum transduction with minimal added noise. This construction extends the E8 phononic filter concept by embedding it in a topologically protected photonic crystal, yielding a broadband, self‑similar transducer platform.
