Abstract

Several D-ribofuranosyl, D-xylofuranosyl and D-arabinofuranosyl 5-aminoimidazoles have been successfully phosphorylated to 5’ -phosphates using a phosphotransferase from wheat shoots and p-nitrophenylphosphate as a phosphate donor.
