The r33T and r31T electro-optic coefficients of congruent and quasi-stoichiometric LiNbO3 have been measured with a precision better than 1 % within the range 458 nm – 1.04 µm. The method has revealed a wavelength dependence with differences between both coefficients and both LiNbO3 compositions.
