This paper describes an investigation of the suspension plasma spraying process by modelling on small scales. The interactions between a continuous jet of pure water and an Ar/H 2 plasma jet were simulated using only NAVIER STOKES and heat equations. The behaviour of such fluids in interaction was analysed during the penetration of the liquid into the gas flow. The film of the interactions shows a complex breakup with a significant variation in WEBER number.
